Well basically I'd like to download (If it's in existence), some sort of software that let's my analyze my competition's linking strategies [the sites they're linked from as well as their PR] so I can "copy" their strategy.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of such software?

hm.. hmm very strange request indeed. why don't you just find a script that check backlinks, anchors, rp and so on and test your competitor?

the best is spyglass but it's pricey about $450

I dont believe the above posts of microtekblue and dannyboyonline. Our friend is precise, he wants a cracked software to do his job :) lol
Ok the best are Seo Elite and IBP - Arelis but the are expensive. So if you want just to "test em" you can go in rapidshare search engine (search this term in google) search for the above terms and find out some rapidshare links. Visit this links hit the free download (you have to wait some seconds between downloads, or just change your ip) and download your "test" softwares, BEWARE if you like em you must buy them ;).
If you have more questions hit me!

I don't want no cracked software of any sort, I don't like it when people crack my software and spread it all over the internet for free and that's why I don't engage in that activity.

I'd be happy to pay for a piece of software to do the job, I'm just not ready to spend 400 dollars on it, in my opinion it's not worth that much, it's just a bunch of queries on some search engines and a good user interface.

You are right! Both on your position upon cracked software and 400$ price.

I will agree with Puzzle, try WebCEO, because you can use it for free and if you like it or need more functionality, you can buy it.

SEO Elite is decent for viewing your competitors backlinks and it also checks the PR if you want.

There's tons of ways to check someone's (or your own) backlinks..... I have listed a few in my following blog post:

How To Check How Many Backlinks Your Site Has

The first one on the list is good.... just let it run searching for 1000 per page, and then step away from the computer for a little while.
