I need the website to open with just www.aaa.com? not www.aaa.com/index.html

    that means its showing the website directory.... you need an index page e.g. .html, .shtml, .phtml, .php,

    if you don't have one of those then it gos to the website directory

    it may also be a setting on your host that the site name needs to be a certain name

    also make sure its not got no caps letters

    it sounds like your site is set up wrong or as gareth said, your missing the index page.

    If you have a domain, point it to /myfolder and then in myfolder, you need index.php or index.html, etc.
    Is your image file placed correctly in the folder?

    If you are hosting on a Windows server, then you just need to set your default document in IIS.

    If your website is hosted on apache server, prepare .htaccess file and upload it in root directory.

    it will help you out with index page problem and also www and without www domain name problem.

    This file help you to redirect www.aaa.com/index.html , aaa.com/index.html and http://aaa.com to www.aaa.com.
