Hello pals, I got a good domain which got ranked in Google's FIRST PAGE before building the site. Now, I need suggestions to build a killing site. Where can I get the suggestions? I this the right forum? or can someone/mod help me by moving this thread to the appropriate forum?
Well, we kind of need a little more information. How much do you have to invest in your new site. Can you hire writers and designers or are you doing it yourself? Are you technically inclined? Is your skill set conducive to building a "killer site". Are you interested in creating a website or a blog?
well, I can write content myself. To be honest, I don't have much to invest for designers. So, I would go with a blog. I'm not sure about how to run the site with such a good domain name.
If you're going to do a blog, WordPress all the way. It's easy to customize, FREE, you can get custom themes for cheap, you can run it as a website OR a blog, there's a plug-in for EVERYTHING. You can't go wrong and thousands stand with me on that. WordPress will make you a killer site. Best of luck!
The site is all about money making, easy money stuff. Oh yea, I'm mentioning it again. The domain got ranked #3 (Page 1) in Google as soon as I built the simple index.html page.

Ah...gotcha. Well, your domain must be a couple of good keywords pertaining to the niche you want to focus on. I assume yours is the way you're going on about it (not trying to be a jerk). Start there. Do a little brainstorming and select a few keywords pertaining to your domain...not too many. For example...if your domain were simply moneymaking.com, that is a broad niche. Focus on an industry or just on making money online. Write content all about how to make money online...just as an example. Blog promotion is easy. WordPress blogs notoriously index in Google very quickly. I didn't even have to submit mine to Google...it was already there. Anything you do online where you use a link to your site is promotion whether it's a sig link here at DP or announcing your launch using social media sites. With WordPress, you can also use ping services that send out a ping every time you update your blog. It's all about setting up the basics like Facebook, Twitter, and other promotions and then figuring out what works beyond that to bring in traffic. Going more complicated than that right now when you haven't begun is just useless at this point.

If u want to make it like blog i suggest u to use wordpress ,If u want it private site .. make it with flash..
You could setup a Mybb forum & but ads on it easy to do & you can have the forum up & runnin in a few hrs
I'm quite shocked that you have your website on #3 position of google without having any content on it. Be sure to check the ads competition and the monthly searches of that keyword because there are tons of keyword out there for which you can get easy ranking but its a way hard to get visitors and profit out of them.
