I need suggestions for a forum software

Me and a couple other people are making a forum software.

I am the Marketer
DeviantHans3 is the Coder
Zalaki is the designer

We are planning on making this a free software just like PHPbb but we want it to be better.

If you were to choose a forum software what would you like to see other than the basics.

What we are planning on already.

-Quick Reply
-Who's viewing each post
-Easy Link Managment
-Shoutbox activated/deactivated via admin panel
-Inline Adsense/ypn/etc manager
-Pager Messages (Message someone and the message pops up on their screen)
-SEO friendly links

Of course this stuff will come over time but what else would you like to see in a forum software?

 

I'd like a forum that's extra SEO friendly out of the box.

I would like to see:
- SEO friendly urls
- CSS based templates NO <table>

 

Have you tried Drupal?
Drupal has a forum module built in, so it's easy to use.
Also, Drupal is fairly easy to theme how you want to.

 

We already started making our own.

 

Good luck. Making a good, secure one won't be very easy.

Also if you could make the url drupal-like with title n all in the url then SEO would be even better .
