Hello, I am planing to start a general forum and blog site. I was running a similar site a year ago. With that experience i am going to try again my luck. I need suggestion for the following. 1. Web hosting I am sure i will register my domain with godaddy, but i have experienced and lot heard they are not good to host. I am looking for a c-panel with Fantastico or any automates the installation of web applications to a website. I need a one year plan, I have budget of $15-30$. I need a good disck space of 5gb-10+gb with bandwidth/ month of 100+gb. I need is a little reliable and some what famous host. Please tell your suggestion. 2. Domain name I am looking for a small domain of 4-6 character at a reasonable cost. I need is a .com which exbit some dictionary meaning and style. Please suggest some good words for it. 3. Forum platform I am very much interested in vbulletin as all are using it, but it is very costly. Is there any way to get it cheap? Or else i will consider free forum platform like SMF. Which one is good for me? 4.Blog platform I am considering word press as blog plat form. Is it the best i can have? 5. Other What are the other things i need to care and include in a website with forum and blog? Also what are things that i need to take care of? Please express your suggestion and help me.
