Hi I'm looking for a software that can handle around 500 sites for charities, it will need to be able to display: Events Blog Contact Information Maps Latest Work Images Files Forum What I need is to have a place where they can login and easily update there page with the latest information, is this possible? I tried drupal organic groups, but I can't get my head around how I would set it up, and again elgg, has me a bit lost.
Have you tried looking into Joomla? They have multiple multisite components available http:// extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/multiple-sites
