Hey guys i have a VPS that is driving me nuts. i'm having a problem with my e commerce sites i'm getting this error

    Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql
    PHP:
i've been searching and searching for info on this and, am more lost now then when i started. I know that it is because the tmp folder is not writable and that the only way to make it writable is through my.cnf via SHH I'm willing to pay some one to do this for me PLEASE HELP !!!

thanks avery - glad i could help you. it was an easy fix by the way.

so people know - for reference of this forum.

Servers will not allow you to change the permission settings of the default
temp folder "IF" content is in it.

Simply delete the content and then try again!
