I Need Some SEO advice

I have a website that has existed for over 6 months now. It is at an Alexa 151,000 and I wanted to check my SEO stats on website grader and it turned up with a score of 62 for the site I have been having linked to and promoting is http://www.celebrityviplounge.com, however the actual site being SEO'ed is http://www.celebrityviplounge.com/blog. The latter site got a score of 91. My question is, is there a way to merge the two sites together? I would much rather promote the first site as it is easier without the /blog at the end.

Also, I own the domain http://www.danitydonnaly.com because I thought eventually I might forward the domain and solely promote that site, however instead I have decided to eventually create a network of sites linked to celebrityviplounge.com.

What would you suggest I do in terms of SEO for the sites? Would I need to promote each one individually?

I am a newbie when it comes to SEO, but any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

Seo stats is a very "narrow" tool and does not reveal the actual seo-friendliness of the website

u could just move the content to the root of your website and 301 the /blog to the main index.

I do not recommend making a network of cross linked websites. Google and the other search engines will consider that spam. They will just penalize or ban your sites. It is not worth the risk. Focus on getting links the legit way.
