i have this website bloggeri.es and i have a banner ad on top right corner and i want to monetize it ... but i dont know how much i should ask .... any ideea? P.S. - this banner will be shown on all blogs from my website (1920 and rising every day)
how much traffic are you generating from your blogs? you can do a research on other blogs that are also selling banner ads. but without traffic, you won't be able to ask for much.
Yeah, traffic details would be helpful to give a better estimate. That ad size is rather small though...
i can make it larger in lenght ... i dont keep trafic stats .... but i have at least 10 blogs registered daily ... so at least 10 unique users i have , and there are my users blogs wich i cant tell how much traffic they have
i think you should start to track your traffic if you plan to sell ads since that's the first question they're going to ask. that's your selling point..... juz my opinion.
Don't want to be hard but nobody will buy an ads on a blog if it has only about 10 uniques visitors... To approach advertisers and make them want to put ads on your blog, you must show them how many visits you get everyday, having a high PR and Alexa rank is a plus. To track your visits, you can use Google Analytics.
i tried to track but i had only 1-2 visits/day ... and i tested ... i visit my website from 3 different pc (different location) and still 1-2 visits were shown ... but is a good ideea to use analitycs 10x
i got 10 gb fo bandwith last month (minus last 2 days ... last 2 days the website didn`t work because of the bandwith)
