I need some opinions and help on 2 designs

    I have made a phplinkbid design and a phpld design I would like some opinions on what people think of them and what should I do to improve them

    The first one is ok. Too much of empty space on the top and it looks strange. I would make fonts of the categories a bit bigger.

    The second one is just not acceptable.

    The first one especially could use a little more color, maybe a background of some sort. I think maybe you should move the title and everything else up a space so the blue bar is in the background.

    The first one I think would be better with a fixed with.

    The second one needs a slightly bigger margin between the left column and the text.

    They need more content and more pictures and what not. The coding on the first one isn't complete and the second one could use more colors. I think they would both look better fixed instead of fluid. Makes it look like you have more content that way.
