I need some help

I was ranking really well for a couple keywords and no I am no where

I hope I haven't been banned... How can you tell if you have been banned by google ????

I just did a complete redesign of my site along with alot of back end programming ..would this make a differance...also add alot of new meta tags to meta tags to new pages.

Sometimes if you overpromote a keyword google will dump you from the index. Change your anchor text around. And maybe tone down the keywords down you have been promoting in your webpage.

This has happened to me and its the advice i was given.

 

It happened to me as well that the site dissapears for several days and then suddenly come back to the same place .

When your site is banned you will find no indexed pages.
I typed in site:www.letstalksportsforum.com in the search box and see that your site is still indexed.

 

Its still in the search engine. Btw, your site looks nice.

 

Yeah still in search engine but not good for the viewers eye when they saw that it is banned.

 

what? viewers eye? how do they see if he is banned?

Do people just post nonsense to get their post numbers up?

 

The cache date is 6 Aug 2007 so it's getting crawled.

Mine dropped too since last friday.
It has to do with the PR update.

Everything will be back to normal in a few days. Just relax and don't worry too much.
There are at least 20 people here (see threads from a few days ago below) who have the same problem at the moment.
It's sucks, but it's life

 

There's a lot of flux but a pr export in of itself has nothing to do with a data push or everfux.

No your site has not being banned by Google. I checked with link: and site: commands and the search returned results for your site.
Just give it time and keep doing SEO work on your site and you will return to the top.

Yeah if your site is banned the PR bar is grey in color.
