    Hi Everyone,

Im hoping someone could give me some idea's here with a large website that i run??

I currently own and run a website called www.housemusicpodcasts.co.uk this website is a site that offers free downloads of some very exclusive house music podcasts from Artists from all around the world. The site is doing very well in google i.e. google "House Music" or "House Music Podcasts" we are on the first page in either first place or half way down the page.

The site itself is getting about 3600 visitors per day and has exceeded 3 million downloads in 3 years :)

Anyway the situation is im not making any money with the site! Well thats a lie im making about £15 per months with Google Adsense but unfortunatley this doesnt cover the cost of the server etc.

We have a facebook community fan page which is growing daily, currently we have 4800 fan's.

Im looking at ways on how to make money with the site, but im struggling big time and need some advice!

    What would you guys suggest???

    Regards

    Tom

The site looks awesome to first of all! What you need my friend is a free report/ebook/gift for the people visiting. In order for them to get it you would have them provide their name and email address.

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself before that you need a great auto responder company that does all the dirty work for you as far as keeping up with who signs up, scheduling broadcasts, and so on.

Now what you would be doing all of the above for is to build an email list that you know is interested in what you're trying to sale therefore you're pitching sales to a targeted group and making you a lot more likely to increase your online profit substantially

If the podcasts are as exclusive as you say they are then i would try content locking.

Turn it into a paid membership site, keep things the way you have it setup but offer a membership site with some additional benefits.

    I agree.
You need to somehow capture your visitors name/email.
That's money in the bank !
    Try..Free Gift..Newsletter..Pop Up's..etc

You can add audio ads to your site, such as PPP (Pay Per Play). This advertising method was introduce by Net Audio Ads. The concept is pretty simple: play a small audio advertising (usually 5 seconds) every time a visitor enters into your website.
In addition to adsense, you can also make money with your website through affiliate marketing, running paid surveys and polls, and sponsor posts.

Why do not you promote a music product on the first page of your website. Something that you know people might buy. Something related with music. You already have the traffic, all you need is the product to promote. For ideas you can go to clickbank, and select a product from the music section there, and start promoting it to your list. Remember, you need auto responder in place, if you want to collect the e-mails addresses of your visitors, is up to you. I hope that helps a little bit.

Look for affiliate programs related to your site. :) Try clickbank and commission junction.
