Alright, so I've created this site: http://www.writeinyourvote.com but I don't know a thing about driving users to it... my PR is 0.... can anybody suggest how I might improve this? and please don't tell me to read more, there's too much to know what's good and what's not, I waste all my time deciding what to read!.... Well, what kind of traffic do you want? Do you want just anyone to come? Because there are quick, easy ways to drive users to your site, problem is, most of them will only come once and never again unless you catch their interest really quickly. Getting targeted traffic is more like an art. You read about it because it's trying to put your site in front of the people that want to see it. PPC is the most obvious choice for that, and viral marketing spreads quick around certain niches.
One good thing is share the links. My home page PR is 0 but Inner PR is 2 I guess on next update my home page PR will be 4. Are you trying to increase PR or traffic because the two are calculated independently. In short: PR = gain more backlinks (directories for example). The results won't appear til after the next Google update Traffic = too many things.. start off with social bookmarking (stumbleupon, digg)
