I need some help please

Recently I created a free website on weebly.com. For some reasons, weebly does not allow the url of this website to start by "www". The url has this structure: "sitename.weebly.com", without "www" in front.

I posted my website on web directories with the url containing "www" in front of "sitename.weebly.com" and it seems that google does not take it into consideration and my website does not obtain a better position in google search.

Does anybody know if this is the problem? Should I have posted the site without "www"? It this "www" that does not allow the site to be taken into account by google search?

    Thank you!

yeap. http:// in the beginning of your domain would be better :) whether it has www or without, I suggest you just focus to only one URL when promoting it.

As for weebly services, it is recommendable for you to use with out www. The same in blogger, by default every blog has no www.

It doesn't give you any problem in Google. It's just an another subdomain.

I don't think www is important, i only know you need to make sure you provide the http:// part at all times
