I need some help, How can I get backlinks for my site?

Hello,

One of my friend has asked me to help him in getting his site in the search results in google. So what I want to know is how I can get (one way) backlinks to his site? The site is www.xlpharmacy.com. Its a medical site, I am not spamming, I just want to know how can I improve its ranking? Please help me guys. And also please tell me what to do when some sites ask for reciprocal linking, my friend dont wants to do that. So he wants one way backlinks. Please tell me how.

write articles, create links are high pr sites. participate in fourm and get links in your signature like mine below.

ok I have articles.. where do I put them? all I find is NO FOLLOW.... any good Do Follow Blogs to put articles?
