I need some feedback

ok well im trying to design a site i have a main page up atm and i would just like some feedback on what i should/could add to improve the site before i bother building the whole site so remember this is totally just a ruff copy but i look forward to all your great ideas and suggestions

isn't it too early for Adsense on this page ?

 

I like the general color's and layout. But the header is maybe a little large, and before one gets the use of affiliates codes one needs traffic. i know you said this is a test site and you are still building. Could you maybe aim at provide your surfer with content and trade links with other webmasters, then when your site has traffic, add your affiliate codes. I know it is a bit like which comes first the chicken or the egg, aff codes to keep the site up but people may not like a new site with aff codes and not much content. Anyway each to their own. wish you the best of luck. Our 2c.

where would you say is a good place for one to find other webmasters to trade links with ?

try to more unique content ,,
it will help u lot...

 

I think your color scheme is great. Play around with the header to reduce the size and give it more continuity with the rest of the page.
