I need some feedback for my new web Directory site!

Hey fellow Digital Pointers

I've started an online web directory site and I'm in need of some feedback. Any suggestions would be great, and please be harsh! I want to make it look and feel amazing.

anything I should change about the site? (Style or function)

 

You got a nice site there, but one thing bothers me. The navigation menu and text is just to big and also make something that when I am on lets says on home that it is highlighted with other color so I know where I am.

Otherwise the site looks preety clean and good. It might be better to remove the footer ad and place an 250x250 on the right sidebar.

if you change the "submit listing" button color, (for example: yellow) it will appear more attractive. by doing so, I believe that you will get more listing request

Your call to action is "submit listing" however it kind of blends into the back ground. Studies have shown that orange is a great colour for such buttons. I also feel the font size is too big, it gives an otherwise impressive design an unfinished look. Otherwise the site is great.

 

Thanks for the comments. I'm for sure going to be changing the Submit Directory button, but as for the font, where is it too big? Or all fonts in general?

 

Feels a bit large/clunky. It could use a bit of design tweaks, but functionality is otherwise great.
