I agree its stupid. I got the same email. But quickly forgot about ever wanting them after I signed up with passions affiliate program. Pretty girls work in every niche! \/ \/
passion.com .. i need to ask my host 1st before joining, hmm my host did not allowed something smells nude ..
sometimes there are other values more important than privacy - values like trust, honesty, integrity hence for serious business relationship such prove as a public whois record confirming your public info.txt file published by alexa certainly may be considered in the interest of all mankind and acceptable
you don't have to disable it a screen shot from your hosting section showing you own it but registered as private should do. Azoogle is just makin you jump through a hoop to make sure you aren't just going to spam their links etc..
I took a screen shot & blanked everything but my name & the domain I was applying with from my registrar. I am happy with the level of service and conversion rates to date. And how much effort is it for you.
Hmmm.. thanks for the suggestion, i'll do as suggest, but one thing i dont understand really, billions google business ( adsense ) do not ask us this, but azoogle ??
IT's just a safe gaurd on azoogles end... Thats part of reason why they are #1 paying as they keep junk webmasters out .
I dont understand what is suspicious about when it comes from MY?? If then i come from another country, then it will be ok ?? And here's their reply : HELLO, my name is not AJAY!!
lol that's funny. tak boleh (cannot) already. i didn't know about stuffs like that when i register my first domain. i always go for the privacy thingy, but then later i found out that exposing your name gives people trust.
Hey guys, even though Azoogle is one of my clients, I'm posting this as GENERAL info and not as a comment on their policies. AFFILIATE FRAUD IS RAMPANT! That's why companies have had to crack down. EXAMPLE: There's a HUGE fraud ring in China that has signed up for over 100 affiliate programs USING MY NAME, MY WHOIS, MY 5 STAR SITE and MY good 5 Star reputation. They have stolen my identity and pretend to be me. Then they start generating FRAUDULENT commish. (Merchants think I'm the one committing the fraud) As soon as the check is ready to be cut they switch to their US mail box address and then funds are transferred to China. I have tried to get the FBI involved to no avail. I was successful in getting one of their many US PO address mail services to collect and confiscate all their checks for a month and return them to all the networks. Fraudsters do this ALL the time. Some are even so stupid that they pretend they are Shawn Collins or own the Wall Street Journal or maybe even Digital Point (just as an example.) They pretend to own other people's sites in hopes they will be approved - knowing that if they list their real Chinese or MY address they will be declined because those are 2 of the countries that are notorious for fraud. I'm sure if you are a regular, honest webmaster it SUCKS to be declined. But it's not due to companies just being stupid or strict - it's due to the fraudsters that ruin it for the good guys. The ad networks OWE it to the advertisers not to allow fraud transactions, so they are forced to implement these measures. They would love to let everyone in. If everyone was honest and played fair they WOULD! But that's just not reality. Too many tricks 4 clicks players out there.
I have allready give them a proof of purchase, that's why i really dont understand when they start calling me Ajay??
It is always possible they got you confused with someone else... or maybe in some strange whois they did they found ajay as a name (just speculating, I know you said you had it whois protected).
Yes same issue here too with Azoogle so i dont want advertise their products. Nothing lost on my side so its ok.
