I need some advice on keyword density

I am very confused about keyword density. If you want to have a 2% density for "free seo software" but still need to not have to high a density for "seo" "free" and "software" which should you focus on? The three word phrase, or the individual keywords?

Does anyone have any advice?

My advice is dont think about keyword density, its not natural.

 

you can use three word phrase, not individual, better to use 4% density.

 

use the three word phrase and use between 3 -6%

Do you think 8% is a little high? it's getting pretty close to keyword stuffing, not to mention the copy won't read and flow nicely.

In my certification taught by one of the big guns 6% was tops.

"free seo software" is very high competitive keyword. You can spent your whole life and nothing except on the 100th page.

""seo is scam" is probably good since there are so many ...is_a_scam.html, etc.

 

use three word phrase, you can to use 5% keyword density.
