I need some AdSense advice; I am new.

Hello. I made a new (5 days old) language learning site and am getting about 300 impressions per day (not yet ranked in search engines). Here is some statistics from today.

    Impressions: 352
    Clicks: 2
    CTR: 0.57%
    eCPM: $0.21
    Estimated Earnings: $0.07

(Probably 100 of those impressions are mine, as I am doing lots of editing and checking at the moment.)

Here are my concerns. First, the ads are not as relevant as they could be, I would like to see some ads about either traveling in India, Bollywood films, or language learning software. I know these people advertise, but their adds aren't making it to my site. Someone told me that AdSense will auto correct this over time. Could that be true?

Second, the clicks are earning about $0.03 each. Isn't this low? What is the cause?

    Any suggestions would be nice.

one thing i notice is that when i search something on google. every site i visit any site, that ads appearing to that site are those i'm searching. say i'm searching for "travel to asia" in google. when i visit another site thats about computers, the ads displaying there are about "flights to asia." so this is probably the cause of it.

but then again google will fix it overtime and if not, edit you keywords once again.

    Hi,

After looking at your site, it seems that you're not using your keywords enough in order for Google to give you relevant adverts. You should, if possible, try to use the keyword as much as you can without it being noticeable or overly aggressive. For example, on my website i will use the keyword "mobile phone" or "Nokia N8" around 2 or 3 times per article.

Another thing you should take note of, is that Google Ads also looks at your <h2> tag, which has significant importance on the ads that will be displayed on that particular page. On your "Advice" page, the <h2> tag only says "Advice", something such as "Advice on learning Hindi" would be much better.

Your page here; http://learn-hindi-online.com/lessons.html displays much more relevant ads (at least for me) than for example the advice page, which i believe could be in part due to the way you using your <h2> tags.

    I hope this helps.

earning per click depend on how popular that word on the ad is, the more popular the more earning potential it has.
