Having been let down by another member on here, I am in need of some customization of a wordpress blog. I want someone who knows what they are doing and can deliver on time without all the messing about. I have just had another member do stuff for me and it went like a dream - that's the way I like it. The blog is installed. What I need is the following (at reasonable cost - no jokers) - ability to put adsense in - get the widget thing to work (installed but not working) - help with categories (installed but only shows if there are posts) - a few other tweaks to make it look nice and to be functional. I am happy to pay for a reasonable quote and will pay for extra little bits if they arise unexpectedly.
By default, the categories will not show up on the list if there are no post. What type of widget are you trying to install? I have been into using wordpress for sometime but not sure type of tweaks you need. Shoot me a pm if in case this is still open for a more detailed explaination.
The categories don't show up I know. But there is a plugin that does it (at least I thought so). Trouble is I cant get it to work. Widget: The themes are either widget friendly or not. My theme IS widget friendly but having installed the widgety things they don't do what they are supposed to. It all looks simple but I have spent several hours trying to sort out php stuff that I really don't know. I am not a programmer and would rather just pay someone else to sort it. thanks for the support.
