My new business will involve me to keep digital information secure. PCs with digital information will never go online. First I want to have to start my computer by a lock key. Second, I want computer to self-destruct if trying to open case. By self-destruct, I mean fry the hardware. Not literally blow up.
Well so you will keep the data of your customers secure? Firstly you will need to make it 100% hack proof Secondly I dont think your customers will be happy if the hard drive would be erased (all their information would be gone)
IronKey USD would serve the purpose you're after. Computer wise I don't think there's anything like that on the market, if there was it'd be sold out to criminals.
Keyed switch -- http://www.overclockersclub.com/guides/keylock/ As for frying the hardware, you could rig the lock on a cases entry panel to discharge a high voltage capacitor (think stun gun) throughout the systems electronic components which should take care of them. I'm not sure this would take care of the hard disk though. I'm thinking you'd have to have that trigger include something that releases a corrosive liquid into the HDD platter area, or have something bring a few neodymium magnets in close proximity to the HDD.
