I suggest you purchase a dedicated server instead of a VPS. You will have much better value with a dedicated server.

You can pickup some good deals on dedicated servers these days.

    What is your budget?

Proxies do tend to use a lot of server resources such as CPU, RAM and bandwidth.

If your planning to host a network of proxies, i recommend quad core server at the minimum.

    Quad Core CPU
    4GB RAM
    2TB Bandwidth at least
    100Mbit/s Connection
    200GB HDD

Your looking at paying about $200 USD/month.

$200? thats way too high for a server of that spec.

    We sell:
    Quad Core
    8GB RAM
    500GB HDD
    3TB Bandwidth for $150

Just go for a decent VPS provider.

You need to do some research man, it's not a instant fortune here, it takes months to get a good flow of people coming in... and even then so, your not going to make the money your thinking of.

get a decent vps hoster. Hosting is not good money in the beginning though. Just offer something that no one has and alot of people will come to you. virginhosting.com offers some 30$ a month vps

I been using VPSlink for almost a year now. Its an unmanaged VPS so you to do a lot of reading and setup yourself. If you are going for the cheapest plan without cpanel it can be a bit tough.

What I can say here: if you are looking to have more information about particular company do the search for their domain name and I assume if they are not new you will find something.
BUT if someone is happy that doesn't mean that you will be happy with them as well

    Well, Well & Well...What Should i say.

    See Ankur,
Hosting is a Business what shouldn't be looking at to make quick bucks. its a long term business which required commitment. as your job is not over just by selling the service, you have to support it too.

the plan you choose of Vpslink is an unmanaged service which requires you have Linux knowledge.hosting company just makes sure your box is running and has no network problem. all other things like software & os updates have to done yourself.

It works great for experienced people who enjoy the freedom of doing it all by themselves but can be tricky to newbies.

And for your Plan pricing question, you need to make a business plan first.
Try reading WHT WIKI for more information

Price of Plan = Your own Cost + Support Cost(considering you be answer queries of customers) + Advertising cost
