I Need Quick and Fast Wordpress Programming Help - Today!

I am looking for someone with experience programming with Wordpress. The job requires creating a small plugin for the post page in wp-admin. I need to be able to enter a date, let's say "April 22nd, 2009", and have this appear in my posts. The dates will be unique to each post.

uhm sorry, why would you need a plugin when you can do it via wordpress template tags http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/the_date or im missing something here...

 

The date I'm using is not the actual date of the post. I need to post dates in the future to inform people of the date and times of each event.
