I believe either last weekend I re-promoted my blog/forum on the various promotion forums on Forum-Promotion's sticky link. I've been making "content" over the past 2 weeks on the blog. I keep a tabs on my google analytics. I've noticed that over the past 2 weeks, the analytics has decreased. I'm now down to 10 visits a day. What can I do to re-increase my blog's visits? (I don't have any money right now so all methods will have to be free. I've made sure to implement SEO on my blog pages and I have a xml-sitemap for the search engines). Thanks, Andy.

To increase blog visits without ranking, try posting answers in Yahoo answers with a link to your blog and post forum and blog comments in relative forums/blogs.

Well, SEO or Search Engine Optimization is very important. This means both on page and off page. Lets start with the easy ones first. Off page SEO is easy to implement, but it is very time consuming. This is why a lot of bloggers pay for the service. You start out by link building, using anchor text with the keywords. This helps the search engine find their way to your site, with the words. How do you link build? That is the question that some of you have. Start with forum posting. This will drive almost immediate traffic to your site. Not only that you get some good backlinks to your site. Of course this is only if the site is a " do follow" forum. Then start blog commenting on blogs in your niche. Not any blog will do, but the ones in your niche are very important. You want good quality links of authority. This means do not head out and spam others. Post comments that add value....include a link back to your site. Above is just a couple important link building strategies. Of course there is always social bookmarking and networking. Remember Facebook recently passed 500,000,000 million members. So start a fan page for your blog, and encourage your readers to visit and like it.
You may try some keyword tools - there are a lot of free tools, but i'm not sure they are good enough. I use semrush - it has a free trial version, it shouold help you.

By the way I will share with you guys a surefire method how you can promote your blog very fast without any SEO,Backlinking or similar BS that doesnt help you much anyway. First you have to build a BRAND to get you noticed. What does it mean? Well you have to go out and send articles on "Guestblogs". What is Guestblog? Well its a blog that have a lot of readers and let you send articles to them in return you will get laser targeted TRAFFIC to your blog that means only people that are actually INTERESTED in YOU and what you have to say. These people will be much more responsive than search engine traffic that doesnt know you. Make sense init??? write some press releases about what makes your blog useful/unique, and post them on free press release websites. Search for "free press release websites" in google, and you should find a good list. Make sure to pick a keyword rich title and to do some SEO on the content of the release. I've gotten some good traffic using this method. You could also post some articles to the big article directories and promote your blog in the resource box.
