I am starting a mobile video site. I will be hosting all the videos. Users will have the option to download the video in 3g, MP4, or QT, but they will also have the option to play the video w/o download. This is considered streaming, right? The format for the video that they can play will be 3g. Again this is for mobile phones. I do not know anything about hosting, so I dont know how this works. Am I going about this the right way? Should I not even offer the ability to play without downloading? How do other mobile video sites offer their videos? As you can see, I am trying to make it where the video will paly on most all cell phones. Please let me know.
