There are several local listing websites out there on Internet. Google on them and you will see some good local listing websites that are useful to your business needs. You can use google place for the google local listing. Google local listing is very useful promoting your site local place. It is very use full for small and local business.
Also, if you search this and a few other forums if you get on them you can find some sticky threads that have lists of directory sites. Another way to go about it is scrape the info you are looking for and there are plenty of those. You are too vague when you say local listing sites.
Hello, Some of the Canadian sites that we have used in the past for local listings include: 411.ca yp.ca canpages.com canadaone.com yelp.com add.yahoo.com/fast/add?8106+Canada Unfortunately, not enough local listing websites are including Canada as an option to claim and/or submit a business. Most are directories or yellow pages. All of the standard ones that everyone knows do, but then it the number of locations drops pretty quickly. The trick is to keep monitoring this on a monthly basis and doing searches on "canadian local listing" or "canadian directories" or "canadian yellow pages". Some that you find you will have to keep checking back to see if anything changed. For example if they start opening up customer ratings and reviews vs. just being a yellow page or directory. I can't post a link yet- but if you google "a list of canada business directories" . The second listing has 167 business directories. This may help get you started.
