I have about 3000 links my site is 5 years old in in the private investigator niche. My competition has about 6000 links.
Right now I post 20 articles a month about 10 blog posts a day and about 30 directory submissions a month.

Is there someone out there that can suggest a good link developement program or system? Somomeone that could take over the link building for me?
What do you think of services like:
    cyberlinkpro.com
    http://digixmas.com/

3000 in 5 years is way too slow. It could be faster then that easily.
I would suggest you check out the buy sell section, you would get tons of people interested doing it for you.

I've only been active in the link building since Nov. Before that I got all my sales from PPC google adwords.

I'm getting some PMs from people in the link sales section. But they all want $20 a year for one link. That seems ridiculous to me. What's a fair deal? What about places like: cyberlinkpro.com
    http://digixmas.com/

there are lot of free link building methods available which you can use. for example, social bookmarking, dofollow blog commenting, squidoo lens, hubpages, etc. its time consuming but they are all free.

regarding $20/ year link offer you are getting in the PM, depending on the quality of the site, it can be reasonable or total waste of money. you need to see whether the site in quesion is related to your niche or not, whether the site sells links only to related sites or to all sites including adults and pharmacy. but there are sites where it would cost yo lot more than $20 per month, not per year, to get a link

So if I need another 3000 links and I pay $20 bucks a piece thats $60,000 a year. I might as well go back to PPC

I don't think buying links really helps much anymore unless they can bring some traffic with it. I would just do article submissions, do-follow social bookmarking and blog comments, signatures on message boards related to your niche etc. You seem to be building links pretty slow. I would always try for the top quality links of related niches but also make sure you are building up a good number of links such as on message boards and blog comments as those add up. I see also in your sig you do not have anchor text. You should try to change it to a keyword you are going for.

I believe the anchor text in my sig line is "online Infidelity Investigation" No? Maybe I'm confused.

BTW I do submit about 20 articles a month, I have 2 blogs and a myspace blog. I do have some stubleupon and squidoo lenss and stuff like that but not a lot.
I also make about 10 blog comments a day.
