With the new year comes new resolutions. This year one of my resolutions was to learn Java. Right now I'm strictly a web programming guy so to speak with PHP, MySQL, Xhtml, CSS etc... So I would like to start completely from scratch with Java and was wondering what resources you guys recommended. Like any video/audio podcast, websites, books, tutorials etc... Thanks -Mike
Google contains many resources. But because you start from scratch, i would like to introduce you site: sun.com (for tutorial), java.net for (XML technology) and books(easily find when search from internet), javaworld.com . If you want more specific technology, please post here, i will help you if i can. And why do not visit my sites if you like: java blog
Well, i'm a java coder myself. If you need tutoring i can help, provided that you occasionally post on my forum here: http://www.engineeringserver.com/t3hc0d3z/forum.html
