I heard about Build A Niche Store, so I went to their website. They suggested submitting an application to EPN before signing up to BANS. The application asks for your website url(s). I have several domains, but only a website in progress, I'm kinda new to all of this and thus far all I've done is some direct linking. I've never promoted a website of my own. I was thinking that BANS would be my way of building websites. Ebay rejected me and gave a list of possible reasons without giving an exact reason why I was rejected. I wrote them and explained it to them and they sent me another email exactly like the first one. Does anyone here use BANS?
BANS sites get banned in google, so if you want to create BANS think only in potential traffic of Yahoo and Bing. You need to get EPN 1st, do not apply to a EPN with a BANS site... instead apply from a normal website, like a nice looking blog, instead of BANS.... good luck The only way to make serious money with BANS is to build over 100.... sotres
Well, I don't have a bans site, the only site I have isn't really much, just something I'm working on. I thought that was the whole point of joining bans, to build websites. I have to get accepted by EPN first. The website issue may not have even been the reason for the EPN rejection. They list about 10 possible reasons, but won't specify which.
You could start by having a niche blog that is giving some information about the niche that you have chosen.
And your source for this? My Bans sites are running just fine. And BANS has what to do with Commission Junction? The reason you want to be accepted first is simple. BANS builds eBay Stores. If you can't get accepted you can't build the store. BANS is simple to set up and then replicate. It's a nice stream of income. You still have to promote your BANS sites.
Well so far it's been like a catch-22 situation. I want to build sites with bans, but I have to get accepted by EPN first, but in order to get accepted I have to have a website.
BANS has nothing to do with CJ, but this is where I first heard about it in another thread. So I thought maybe people like YOU could help me out. Yeah, this is what I already know.
Crappy BANS sites get banned, because all they have is duplicate content and affiliate links. Real sites with real content do just fine, thank you.
