I need hosting help please...

    Hello, I would like to transfer one of my websites to another hosting companies server and do not know how to do this myself.

    Is there anyone here that can help me with this. I am willing to pay $10 to have this done...

    Setup an account on the new web host.
    Get the information from them on how to connect to their server (host,username,password).
    Upload the files and ask for a temporary URL so you can view your site.
    If anything looks fine, change the nameservers at your domain registrar to point to the namservers of your new host.

    I can do this for you. However, I need to know if the site to be transferred is just a static site or is it a dynamic site (with a backend database). Let me know...

    You've given instructions to upload a backup from a home computer, not to transfer from host to host...

    This will be for a blog... it's not a static site at all.

    I would like to transfer one site from one hosting company to another through cpanel. I need to have the files first backed up and then uploaded to the new hosting website.

    can set it up manually for you and free of charge but you have to tell me what plugins you are using, blog script and what addons, etc..so I know I can make sure all go right.
