Something went wrong with my wordpress blog. So I did a backup and reinstalled wordpress on my site, now I can't get the backup to work. I went through php myadmin and still nothing. No post or anything. Any ideas
If there is nothing looking inside phpMyAdmin means that the restore option didn't work, specially if you are using Cpanel since this is very common. Find the SQL file for your blog and do a manual importing via phpMyAdmin, here is how http://www.modwest.com/help/kb6-335.html
Yes, cPanel is sometimes downloading only structure of the database instead of entire database. If there is no data in your blog database then it seems that the database is not restored properly or the backup which you have is not complete backup. Try to restore it again. Kailash
It looks like it may not be a complete backup. I do have someone helping me now, but they didn't have time to look at it until today. I've spent the last few days going though searches to find cached pages. I do paid blogging so I have to get when I can. It's not fun.
