My dad is a lorry driver and wont be back till after christmas he asked someone here to do some content for him. The user sent him files that were not able to be opened or used i tried but was unable to read or see them. The user is threating to get my dad black listed here and says pay him for work that cannot be used or he get us black listed and i am trying to help my dad out while he is not here. The user is genius-x quote from his pm We cannot use or view these files and i can confirm this but hes demanding payment for work that cannot be used and going to get him black listed. So he said hes not paying for it as it cannot be viewd or use we told the user this but he refuses to do anything about it but demands payment for work that cannot be used. Please can you help as hes at work and cannot defend this. Thank you His son

There is a bit more to it i just rang my dad to let him know he also says this user was offering content for $7.00 a go my dad asked him to do this the user DID 8 a sent 8 in a 1 go HE only wonted 1 and this user sent 8 and demand payment for 8 when the order was for 1 this is unfair to my dad as his order was for a single content for his site an not 8 and this user is also demanding 8 payments of $7.00 each and from the pms the order was for 1 website content. This is realy unfair to my dad and the user knows my dad is now out of the country till the 7th of jan. I cannot pm you any of the work just in case i get my dad into trouble can anyone help with this please where my dad stands for this please as the user is now demanding payment of $56.00 for a $7.00 order. here is my dads orig pm as you can see it clearly says a content page in my eyes that means 1 and thats $7.00 not $56.00 and the user send files that cannot be opened or used and did 8 without asking and the orig order was for 1 can is threatning to get my dad black listed for no reason.
that being the case mate I would just wait for your dad to get back from work - the user you are talking about "genius-x" cant blacklist someone from these forums by himself so you dont need to worry about that. Also, to look at this particular case a mod would have to look at the individual circumstances, but seeing as mod's (moderators) dont look at cases like this where there is a dispute between two members, I dont think much can be done here. If the user has totally misunderstood what your father wanted and done 8 times more work than was asked of him, I think it would maybe be fair to give him a bit more than was discussed in the first place, especially if the work can be put to good use, but in the end its down to the goodwill on both parties. so, in the meantime Id just tell your dad not to worry, to drive safely, and to have a merry christmas and to look forward to getting home! CATCH WORDS FOR ADS The word list is derived (copied) from this article: http://www.webpronews.com/topnews/2004/11/01/how-to-write-better-solo-ads the phrases that are meant to “stimulate action†are from this webpage: http://www.homebiztools.com/winwords.htm After a 5 minute search on the following few I couldnt find any copies of these other articles elsewhere, but you need to understand a few things with these articles, 1) if you employ someone with no knowledge of the subject matter to do articles for you, then your not going to get any real or genuine content on there. I for instance know nothing about physics - if you asked me to write a physics article I would struggle. I dont know genuis-x but I would wager that he knows nothing about essex, which is why the articles that are provided about essex are lifted from other information sources, although they have been VERY WELL changed so as to "look" different to a search engine. 2) These articles, by themselves are not going to help your site get more visitors, despite any amount of cleverly packaged keywords in them, as they would rely on people just typing in exactly what is in the articles, which is very, very unlikely. 3) I do beleive that the user Genius-X has put in a decent amount of effort into these... even the articles that I have found are duplicates of other articles, have been sufficiently changed to look and read unique to search engines, and have been done in a professional enough way to be fluidly read by any british speaker. Normally charlatan copywriters would just copy and paste the text, Genius X has not done this, he HAS speant some time on these. So: the question boils down really to whether he was asked to do all of these articles or just one of them. That is something that I can not comment on without seeing all of the communication from both parties. I do not feel that he has tried to dupe you, so I think that this must just be a genuine mis-understanding on both parties sake. I do stand by my other assertions above, and it is still impossible to say whether the author has written 8 articles instead of one as a misunderstanding.
