Can you be more specific please?

    - How much traffic is being used?
    - How many members does your site have?

After these are answered, I am sure we can find you something.

I recommend you stay away from unlimited space and bandwidth offers.

if your site really using high cpu, than considering a low cost dedicated would be good idea, instead you loose your traffic, better move to dedicated server

Well, "high cpu usage" for a shared hosting account (especially if they claim "unlimited" everything) is pretty enough for a low-mid end VPS.
However, what kind of site is it?
How much space do you use?
How much bandwidth do you use monthly?
What scripts and/or programming languages are you using?

The choice of the VPS depends especially by that.

A VPS is a good step up from shared hosting, and should help you grow for a while.

It might be worthwhile to get someone who can set up and optimize a VPS for you. 1000-2000 visitors per day isn't a whole lot. If it doesn't fit inside of a VPS, then there are probably some things that can be optimized to make it fit.

You should definitely go with a VPS first. A good VPS starts at around $10-$15 per month, so just a few more dollars than what you are paying today. Plus, any really serious and good host would move your current site over to their hosting for you, thus eliminating any troubles and headaches.

Some hosts even do specials when you sign up for longer time periods, like 50% off your first 3 months, your first 6 months or even your first 12 months when you decide to sign up. I work with a few of the large and good ones, let me know if you need help with their pros and cons.

you can start with a master reseller so you try it first and if the business continue to grow then upgrade to a vps
