NOT sure if this is where i should of posted this at..if not..im sorry... I use synthasite.com to design my sites..i am not a web designer and dont want to learn..so i use synthasite as a sub domain and there site is very easy to use and alot of templates. Now i have a domain with godaddy...purchased the domain name....officialmixtapetutorials.com..... i do not have a hosting account as of yet...but maybe i will need one for the option im tryin to use... Now when i go to publish my site thru synthasite....i have a option of giving it my own unique domain...officialmixtapetutorials.synthasite.com or using the one i purchased from godaddy.com..which is what i want to use... Now it says that my domain points to a ip....i deleted that ip from my dns server thru godaddy.com....and created a new " A RECORD" Like synthasite says and pionted it to the ip address that synthasite gave me which is 208.75.208.172 . All this is now done... "my a record in my godaddy account now poioints to the ip 208.75.208.172" for my synthasite account. it does say it will take a while to update but has of now has not updated..now wehn i go to officialmixtapetutorials.com and website does not exist..... Can anyone help me with this please and if you understand how i was told to do this..can you tell me if this is going to work or do i need a hosting account also with godaddy for this to work? which i dont believe i do basically how can i use my template website(synthasite) to point to my main domain(godaddy) with out hosting account
