I need help....who will help me.....?

Hi friends,

I need to transfer my files from one server to my another. Its 13 GB data. I can do that but it will take 10 days coz my internet connection is too slow. If anyone can help me here that will be gr8. I will be very thankful to that guy.

Do both webhosts use cPanel? You can use the cPanel backup feature or if you have full access to the servers you can transfer them via SSH.

I know what is SSH but I don't know the command. i know wget but how to use it? Any clues pls? thx.

 

Wait do you have WebHostManager on both servers? If you do there is an option in WHM to transfer websites from another server if you don't want to do it from SSH.

I havce solved this prob in 2 hours by using SSH commands. Thanks everybody cheers.

 

how about posting the SSL commands to help others in need while in the same situation...

Make a backup like you normally would then move it to public_html. Then copy the file location then go into the file manager on your new server then paste the file location in the upload box. It should work, ive done similar things before.

a friend of mine asked the new server admin to do the transfer for him when he change hosting.... so ask the server admins to help you and they will do it within 2 hours....
