I need help to translate a UK slang word......

    Hi,

    Im doing busniess with some guys from UK, big biz!
    I just recived a email with this sentence:

    Erick is abroad but im here this week. Ill catch his goffa.

    Hmm ill got a littlebit confused, Does it mean that he will sort out Erick´s work or?

    Help me out

    He might mean "Gofa".
    It means Erick's assistant - stand in, dogs body, bat man - call it what you will.
    It comes from the fact that Erick might send his assistant to "go for" something he needs.
    I know... it's pretty lame, but that's what it means!

    Is very old slang , not sure I've ever heard anyone under 60ish use it ( maybe thats just local to me though )
