Hi, Im doing busniess with some guys from UK, big biz! I just recived a email with this sentence: Erick is abroad but im here this week. Ill catch his goffa. Hmm ill got a littlebit confused, Does it mean that he will sort out Erick´s work or? Help me out
He might mean "Gofa". It means Erick's assistant - stand in, dogs body, bat man - call it what you will. It comes from the fact that Erick might send his assistant to "go for" something he needs. I know... it's pretty lame, but that's what it means!
Thnx alot.. I was google the word goffa and find this link http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Goffa .... didnt know what to thought... HAHA ANyway tnx
I spelt it wrong... it's actually gofer: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=gofer Thank God for the urban dictionary!
when your someones gopher, you gopher this and gopher that. for you challenged ones, go for this and go for that.
Is very old slang , not sure I've ever heard anyone under 60ish use it ( maybe thats just local to me though )
