    Hi all,

Ok,I am personalizing my first blog(will add a link later when I finish it)

And I am bit stuck....well not stuck but I want too choose the right colors and fonts.

First fonts, which fonts do you recommend to use for a blog that will look very professional,it must be a font that is easy to read and looks pretty nice in the same time.

    Now the colors...:)

    I want a mix off a white(ffffff) background,orange or blue menus with a border(probably black borders),and I already have a blue Header.

Which colors do you recommend if I want a mix of white, black, orange, blue, grey?(give me color HEX)

Can you tell me the best orange, blue, grey colors?(give me color HEX)

Go to Mashable.com - there you will find a tool that will help you with this colour coordination.

    http://mashable.com/2008/11/05/web-design-toolbox/

I havn't the time to scroll all the way through that list, but about a 1/3rd to halfway down you should find some tools that might help you.

As for the font, don't be extreme, stick with a bog standard font and use that font throughout your site.

Google likes black text on a white background.

If you're using FireFox, a better tip instead of doing all that would be to get ColorZilla - www.Colorzilla.com

Wow,I was reading this night approximately 5 hours all regarding colors and color schemes, but I can just say that it was worth the time investment because my personalized blog looks awesome now.

I chosen a mix off Orange, blue, black, gray and white.

Personally, I believe you had visited many websites and blogs.
Didn't you find some websites with perfect color scheme, including orange, blue schemes ?
If yes, you can refer to their color scheme .
There are many free tools to pick up color (HEX) from screen .
(If you can't find, pls google "color pixel", "screen color pickup tools")
