It ranks on 3rd for the keyword "Face Recognition System But from last 6 months I doing lots of efforts to reach at top... I have already done with Onpage (6 months ago) and I regularly do all off page activities like directory, article, press release, comment posting, forum posting, social bookmarking.. etc... Still I m on 3rd.. Any suggestions I can I reach at 1st from 3rd.. Look at 1st and 2nd position.. Plz plz help me and share some tips and guidance... Plz review my site your inputs matters a lot for me.. Thank You..
According to Yahoo! Site Explorer, you have 1,436 Backlinks. The #2 spot, "Howstuffworks.com" has 334,809 Backlinks. So for starters, you definitely need to work on that. The #1 spot is Wikipedia. I can't offer anything there, because it's incredibly hard to beat. (personal opinion).

A wikipedia link (in the external sites section) is nofollow therefore it isn't going to help with placement. It may however (probably will) bring lots of targeted traffic via the wikipedia listing so I'd aim to get a link (but don't spam). The backlink count should be treated as a guide only ... it may have many more links but they won't all be targeted to that phrase... Howstuffworks is a site about all sorts of things so their IBLs will be all over the place. Continue to build backlinks like you're doing. Do some keyword research to find related phrases: Facial Recognition Software face recognition technology facial recognition face recognition feature extraction image recognition To name a few..... I notice that you link to an SEO company in your signature ... surely you know all this??

I am also working with other keywords like u have suggested but "Face Recognition System" is most important keyword for me in terms of traffic as well as business. So by anyway I want no 1 position for "Face Recognition System" and yse I belong from SEO company so I know these things about seo. But still to beat Wikipedia and Howstuffworks, some strong strategy required and I m looking for It. Paid listing or Yahoo listing will work? what u friends suggest?

You may try to use US IP based proxy and go Google.com then type your keyword. You will not see your site on the font page. Or another easier way, go for AOL.com and search for your keyword. I have experience in beating Wikipedia site before. It is not the number of backlinks measures to rank higher. There are over 200 factors involved to rank higher. I suggest you to build more quality backlinks instead traditional backlinks creation method. You can also click on "Web History" on google search page and "Disable Customization" to show exact ranking, make sure you are logged out from Google accounts.
