I created some backlinks for my site: http://www.seoknowledge.info/ I searched on a few backlink checkers I found online and they say 3 or so. I have my blog in webmasters tools and it says google has indexed 4 and I can not find any data on my site even at alexa.com. Also idk if it is important but my site is either 3,4, or 5 days old cant remember which.
You definitely need to give it some time.. It could take as little as one day or even 3 months for your backlinks to show up. What exactly are you doing to get those backlinks?
in yahoo or other maybe u can take some backlink show fast. but not in google. mine on 6+ months just raising from 0 backling, but it still below 5. but when i look on yahoo,they claim i have 100+ backlink. that still so far away to reach 100K backlink.
why don't you try using marketsamurai, it is a good monitoring software. You can check the seo competition based on your keywords and checks domain and page backlinks.
Yahoo site explorer is the tool I use to check for backlinks. You may want to check there if google is not showing up your backlinks to your site.
Wait for google crawler. For Increase Link Back do some no follow blog comments and check after 2 days. Good Luck
You must wait for sometime. Yahoo will show your backlinks pretty fast. plz check it in yahoo link:www.yourdomain.com
