I need help marketing my website.

The first day I launched it, it brought in a whopping $25 via adsense.

The second day it only brought in $4.

Now it is averaging about $1?

What is going on? How can I get my stats up. I have a great website, and can keep new content on it. If someone can help me with marketing the website and help me generate revenue, I would surely share the revenue.

    Please Help.

I think it would be easier to help you if you answered a couple of questions:

    1. What did you do to generate traffic on launch day?.

    2. Where is most of your traffic coming from already?

Mralan, I agree with Abbadox, you have to test your site to know what is happening.

Well, in my opinion you just invited friends over, or what? In the first day, I mean. How did you get the traffic, because if it was in an other way than telling people to visit, do it again, sounds like a good way to do it.

I went onto other forums where people post free samples and put my link on them. I did it again today and the hits skyrocketed. But I cannot afford a whole day of posting links for $6 in adsense credits. Check out my traffic info.

It's hard to say the most effective way to market your website based upon the little information given. Any more insight may help. jmho

    Are they repeat visitors?

    Maybe they're going ad-blind.

I tried to check the tracking, but it appears down. I wanted to get an idea of where most of your traffic was coming from to help figure out a plan.

Well, your biggest problem might be that few of the visitors ever come back; I looked at your stats. The reason probably has to do with the fact that your site is just ugly or more specifically, just has too many ads. I would just add some text to go with each product. I would also remove the big text at the top about bookmarking the site and replace with an AdSense block (probably the one at the bottom. Give people options to bookmark the site on the sidebar. BTW, if you had more text and a page for each product then you might eventually get some organic search engine traffic which would cost you no time or money.

    Good luck!

Signup for for a free Google Analytics account, it will help you to see just where your traffic is from, if you are doing lots of posting in forums it will let you know which ones are really getting you traffic.

Usually it is relatively easy to see what changed. When you first launch a site you won't get any traffic unless you link to another site or release something where people will go to your site.

Like all link campaigns they will peak right away, and die off quickly.

Like Abbadox said... sign up for an adsense account, its not the best... but its free and can give you a general run-down of whats going on and how people got to your site.

It will definately help your site by adding more text. First thing is add some text telling what your site is about as that is a little hard to tell. Then for each sample text telling about the products. This will make the site more appealing to visitors and search engines.

Do you have tracked your visitors?
From which resource are they coming? ...Search engines?

BTW, you are using a free web space and it is not professional.

    1. It's better you use a paid host.
    2. Your website needs good text. You need traffic from search engines (SEO).
    3. Capture your visitors info and offer a newsletter. Create your list.
    4. Place a link in your site => Bookmark us!

    Hope it helps.
