I will be adding a forum to a section of my ecommerce site. I'd like the forum to be search engine friendly and be easily manageable to block spam sign ups, posts, etc.

If you've set up and designed forums before please send me a quote AND examples of what you done. (Our back end uses X-cart and regular php)

If you can't show (verifiable) examples of what you've done before I wont hire you.

Also, please list what forum you recommend using. This project will start in roughly 2 weeks or less.

Try phpbb3, it's free, simple and themeable.

you can also use smf easy to use and easy to put ads.
if in future u want to start VB on on ur forum u start easily.
    smf to Vbulletin is easy.
    phpbb to Vbulletin not easy.
    so think properly.
