I need help in monetizing proxy sites

    I have 6 proxy sites that are getting quite some UV per day.Some I have for 2 over 2 months and some I made week or so ago.
    I have put adsense on them,I also put google custom search.

    Adsense made me little bit over 3 $.I havent had any revenue throe custom search thou.I receive 10 cents per click but I dont get many clicks on adds.

    Today I put an Amazon banner on one of the site to try if that will get me anywhere since adsense doesnt give any result.I also applied to Canep Media,Global Interactive and clickbank but Im still waiting for approval from them.
    Is putting adds from those sites smart thing to put on my proxies?Is there anything I could do to increase revenue and Im not doing?How much UV does usually successfully proxy site gets to earn some descent revenue?Would placements of adds make a difference?

    I would be glad to receive any advice on this matter.My bandwitdh is getting eaten but I dont get any notable revenue.
    Any help given would be greatly appreciated.

    1 It helps if you make the ads look like your website why blue ads when your site is green?


    2 Make the costum search box bigger so it looks more like the the proxy form.

    3 more text. Like With this proxy you can unblock myspace, friendster....

    Impossible to say. Example for me. I had today 105 UV and 8 clicks = $1.39 wich is very good for 100 uniques.

    Make the ads more friendly with colors and an easy template can make them clickish lol...

    Thanks for ideas.
    I changed colours to green and expanded search box.Im thinking of adding more text but I have my toughts about it.I think that people who uses proxies know what they are about and that adding more text wont help me get any more revenue.

    @pOWER2B That is over my record.I think most I got was 1.20 or so.


    Any more ideas.Im kind of desperate here.How about selling add space directly?Is that profitable?Is there any demand for it?
