Can someone please VERIFY me 1 more time, before buying this?

Which series do you have there are a few in the 3620 series, it should be either a 3623 or 3624 or something like that.

How much ram do you have in there right now?

I personally would not buy off ebay...check tiger direct and newegg before you buy, you might can get better memory for a better deal.

Ok, just wanted to double check something.

Yes, that is the correct memory, but IMHO I wouldnt buy from that guy, did you see all the negative feedback he has?

Besides, memory is the most important component of a computer, there is reliable memory and then there is crappy memory. Crappy memory is the one that makes your system lockup or get errors, that people always end up blaming windows for.

Also, you dont have a dual channel laptop as far as I can tell right? So why not add one stick of ram to the 256 you have in there? It WILL NOT make it any faster to have matched pairs if you don't have a dual channel board.

If you add a 1 gig stick to that, you would be all set, unless you are doing really (I mean really) heavy graphics programs, and even then you would still be ok, and this is coming from a memory junkie, I load everything to the max, but you really don't need too. Although, if you are running Vista, maybe, but still not needed.

Why don't you just buy a matched pair from crucial or kingston? the crucial pair is 101.99 and 6.12 for tax with free shipping, then you know you are getting good ram. The ebay guy is 79 plus 11 shipping.

Thats true, but i got $95 in paypal rite now, and i just wanted to order it and get it overwith you know? I am tired, searched for the past week.

The main reason is that i would firstly want to try out Vista, and then have a fast computer, i dont think the Video card i got is so bad? (128MB)... With 2 gig ram and 128 video i can possible run some games and good apps..

Also in a few days i might even upgrade the Hard drive...

And crucial is only for US? i dont live in US :(

    What ya think?

hard drive is going to make the biggest improvement in speed on a laptop. get a SSD - very nice :) (expensive)

the 128 meg of ram is shared on that laptop (pretty sure)(almost positive) so memory will help, and games will be ok, but not out of this world.

the ebay guy could be fine, Ram is just pretty important.

If you got your heart set on it, then I can tell you that ram is certainly the correct specs. Whether or not that is what the guy sends you is a whole nother story...

little odd, Kingston only lists there high end memory for that model, which is strange, there valueram is great, and the only time they dont list the valueram is when a machine is real picky about memory.

not sure, but crucial is huge, they probably ship anywhere.

personally, I would buy from crucial, they are the only ones that will truly guarantee the ram, plus you can always give them a quick call and triple check the memory is right, but you dont need too.

shipping calculator is on right hand side it is a drop down, the link doesn't show me anything though, just shows me my basket and zip code, no I don't think they take paypal, so if that is your only option, I guess that answers your question
