Ok I have been doing this on and off for a few years, but the last 3 months I have really been trying. Here is what I have done: I have a landing page for articles at naturalhomecures.blogspot.com with an opt in box, I just got an article posted from ezinearticles about garlic health for that site, before that I was going in a completely different direction. I have written 5 articles that I have submitted to associated content with non exclusive rights, I made a few bucks that way, but it takes them over a week to accept. I am a part of the warrior forum and I ran a wso with someone, we made 7 sales on 12 bucks a piece, it was called 68 proven money makers for kids. Since then we put the site up live and have had over 600 visitors and no sales. site is www.kidswantmoney.com I can write articles and have submitted about 24 to ezinearticles, I am very afraid of failing as I seem to be doing so well at it. I guess I just need some help, even making 10 bucks a day would be completely awesome, but I am getting more like a 5 dollar a month raise, so in january i made probably 10 bucks, february 15 and march about 20 after expenses. Please help me. I want to succeed, I need to, I dont know what to do or where to start.
I really dont think there is a quick way ... Maybe there is but i dont know it. You have to build up with time... Online business is something that takes time. Even offline business takes time. All i know is ... there is money if you work at it with time.
I would just keep on writing those articles man! Im sure youve read BUM Marketing, buy if you havent, read it. Dont even look at you Clickbank (if thats what your doing) stats. Also If you have writeen the Ebooks and all, give it some serious thought about being an advertiser with Clickbank, Then have other people promote your stuff... I think that kids one would do well on there. If your not looking to spend any money, definitley go with BUM Marketing and write as many articles as you can! It gets better, just dont give up
The fastest method to get traffic and make some sales will probably be PPC campaigns with Adwords. However you need to make sure that your landing page is good and your keywords are targeted. The overall speed will depend on how fast you can do your research and put it to work. It normally takes time but if you have previous experience with PPC then it may take you shorter. Good Luck! How about taking a job selling hamburgers? Sorry, couldn't resist. Okay... here's a free tip for you: promoting that site might not be the best choice at this point. I mean... if you look at http://www.kidswantmoney.com/ you say you have "proven ways to make money", but by looking at your comments in this thread you are basically saying just the opposite. This makes me think that your product might simply be flawed... and not really providing the value it promises. Then the second problem. Your audience. You are selling this to kids. Even though you have promotional words targeted to parents... it's kind of still selling for the kids. And 7 year-old kids cannot spend $27 on an ebook (or whatever you are selling). They don't have the money. And if the book would be for parents, could a better wording be something like "teach your kids to make money" instead of "Money Making Secrets For Kids Revealed". So basically... you are trying to sell something to an audience that might not even be able to buy. No matter how much you would pour in adwords or other ways, it won't work until the product is more targeted. The reason is that your target market might not be ready to buy. And to add into this... you have a book that "Here for the first time is specific information on the nuts and bolts of how to get your very own Ebooks written for you that you can sell profitably.". That doesn't fit so well in what you are selling. You are selling advice for kids (or parents to deal with kids), and then you have advice on selling ebooks. Should it be something like "teach your kids to sell ebooks" kind of stuff (just a suggestion)? The first bonus "Spending Quality Time With Your Family Doesn't Have To Involve Spending Money" seems to fit better in the product line (if you really want to approach parents), but the other bonuses might not be something your audience wants. That being said, I think you should try to find some other segment... or make the current segment more clear - and figure out way to provide real value. When you find out a way to give value to others, they will be giving bucks to you. Wish you good luck.
