Recently, I got a problem with DP on thread starting issue. Both thread started have been red marked and removed from the category with reason : "Thread Started In Wrong Category" I don't know this thread will be marked as "Thread Started In Wrong Category" or not, but I strongly believe this is general chat and I need opinion and suggestion on how to select proper category. What should I do before starting a new thread? Is there anywhere I can check before starting a new thread? Currently, there are two posts that has been marked and removed as below: 1. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=9791410#post9791410 under content creation 2. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=10287649#post10287649 under link sales Any suggestion where should I post this two threads?

you need to make sure you are starting the thread on proper section. first check what are the sections are already available. then you create the thread on proper section. if you are not sure, you can try searching the similar post first and see on what section everyone is creating thread and can make judgement and create threads or you can PM any of the mods available and get confirmation from them. you can get the list of moderators from http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showgroups.php. Also do not forget to read the sticky threads on all sections. I think you got infractions as your product value is less than $5. threads with $5 or less should goes to freebies section.
