    Hello everybody;

    I am planning to create a small website - homepage + 2-3 inner pages for a Japanese speaking tourist guide in Turkey.

    The website will be in Japanese - two versions - one with Kanji and the other with Latin alphabet.

    I want the website to rank for several keywords - that I will use and optimize for - in google.co.jp but I dont speak Japanese.

    The website owner - the guide herself - will help me to create the site and with keywords but I have no idea where to start and which road map I should follow?

    I have several question;

    1) Should I take the domain name in Japanese or English? Taking it in Japanese will help me in any way since it is not possible to have a domain with Kanji?

    2) I guess people in Japan use a keyboard with their own alphabet so I am planning to write the majority of the site in Kanji.

    3) How can I check - for future - if the keywords are ranking etc. and where can I do keyword research?

    4) And of course for link building strategy what is your opinion? Should I gain links from english websites or Japanese websites and gaining natural links are almost impossible. So what else I can do? Article marketing, forum posting etc.. but should they be in Japanese sites all the time?

    or I will be glad to hear other recommendations..what else can I do to promote this site and have good rankings. The keywords we are targetting are not competitive, actually very low competition so I suspected that it is the way that Japanese people search this service in google..

    Waiting for your replies.

    Thank you very much

    Hi friend, Be careful when choosing domain. Your domain must have a keyword related to your niche.
