I am making a website that deals with "what's hot in the internet"... I will post pictures, videos, articles, and links to other cool sites that are "popular". What exactly should I put in my title tag? I was thinking "The Best of the Internet", but I know that won't work well. Should I do something along these lines: "The Web's Best Pictures, Videos, and Websites" Any suggestions? I need help big time..and anybody's help would be amazing.

I think that you should research a bit on google keyword tool, to get a good keyword and also a good traffic. Hope you'll find something good
You'd better asking the question with more specific details and you would get more specific answered. There are a lot of good keyword suggestion tools online, thus a many similar thread started here for gazillion times already. If I were you I would do keyword analysis first. The through analysis could gives you more insight information including searches number and competitive level. If you are a starter and you do not want to compete with a gigantic from the beginning, I would recommend you avoid too generic keyword, such as your example "The Best of the Internet". The variation of this keyword already have a tons of competitor these day. If you narrow the target you would get the results faster with less budget to spend on.
I think you should serious look out for some keyword search tool. I was also skeptical for my keywords, however I got lot of keywords from the search tool. Later you can do this : I chose a few keywords for my homepage, keyword1, keyword2 and keyword3. I put them in my meta tag keywords (source code of my homepage), then I also put them in my meta tag description, and in the title of my homepage (title of the webpage). Then, I put the keyword1 in the content as the title of my homepage, using the tag h1, then the keyword2 as a subtitle, using the tag h2. Then, I use those 3 keywords in the article of my homepage. And I did the same for the other web pages of my website, with keyword4, keyword 5, and so on. So yes, you are on the right track: keywords should be used in your source code (meta tags) for each web page, then in the title of the web page, and a few times in the content. You just want to make sure that you are not using them too much as google might penalise your website. HOWEVER.... and that's very important, what we are talking about here is ONLY the tip of the iceberg, in other words, it's only a part of your optimisation. The other part is to make sure that you use net linking (or link building) to increase your ranking in the search results, and increase your chances to be found online.
Thank you all for the helpful replies. Any keyword tool suggestions? Which one do you guys use? Thanks again!!
