I found this forum and it look quite pro so i registered to ask this question I hope i post this in the correct place. I have a paypal personal account which i used to buy from sellers and ebay mostly. But now i want to do some new transactions which are: 1. Sell some items on Ebay 2. Place a donation button on a blog or/and webpage Now I dont want my full name to get displayed on the transaction for the people that pay/send me money Reason is that i am registered on some forum and I have rised both friends and enemies there because of my Huge intress in the paranormal Normaly on Ebay this wont be a problem, but if I were to put the donation button on say a blog or web that already people on a forum knows about then if someone send me money they would know my full name. Then If someone on the forum get to know my full name it can end up in the wrong hands which might disclose it to the forum and i will loose the purpose of having a anonymous nickname on a forum and have to quit posting there I have got some forum threats already if they came to know my name i can end up being at risk when on the street. It is unlikely that this happen but i better be on the safe side Now with premier acount it need you to disclose you full name to the person giving you money, but busniess acount do not. in Busniess acount you supose to put a corporation name, but i asked paypal here in spain and they said it was okey if i put my Ebay nickname there or some other nickname althrough the purpose was for corporation name to be used. So here is my questions im sorry if they are many please take a cup of coffe and take your time read through: 1. Should i choose a Busniess acount and invent a Nickname and use it for all my transaction or will this put me in legal trouble with some corporation (I will not use a known corporation name just a nickname) When i transfer money from paypal to my bank acount can i still go to the bank and take out the money in my name ? and if the nickname/corporation name and "busniess" apear on the bank transaction will this look suspicious? The reason i ask is because right now im studying and dont have job and in my situtation i dont have to declare annual taxes. but if transaction of paypal busniess in my created busniess name apear on bank acounts will this force me to declare taxes? (I plan just sell smale second hand things like a hifi for 300 dollars and such so we not talking about im going to get rich and not declare taxes 2. when sending payment if i have a busniess acount with a Corporation name can i choose for some people not to display the corporation name but my real name instead? (I prefer use corporation name for most transaction but for some friends i might want to use real name) can I? 3. I have used my personal paypal acount for years now and have always had possitive feedback at ebay and when i do purchase i guess the seller can see how many transaction i done before and hence feel safe that is an old acount i done many transaction with But if i update to premier or Busniess then i have to start all over again? Does the seller see "oh he is a Premier/busniess user but he have zero transaction" or will my personal acount transaction number be included also so my paypal acount still will look trusted? 4. What is the Fee difference between Personal,Premium and Busniess from what i understand all 3 are totaly FREE to send someone money then when reciving money in Personal is free (but very limited i dont think you can recive money from people paying with credit card) with premium it cost some % meaning is good to return say a donation of 1 Dollar which will cost me more to recive than the amount given I dont know about Busniess but i heard is about the same Fee but the word "busniess" just make me think i will get charged more fees So whats the difference here ? i already read the fee comparision on paypal but didnt understood it all that well. 5. If i have a premier and Busniess paypal acount And say one month im not selling anything but i have a paypal donation button will i have to check my paypal daily to check for low-transaction like 1 dollars that i have to return so it wont cost me more to recive than what i get ? is there a limit like a week or something to return that ? 6. Say one month i have Zero in my bank acount then sell something for 50 Dollar the seller pays me through paypal which is premier or busniess paypal then supose to charge me a % of that amount Will paypal charge me this before the 50 Dollar arive in my acount? because if is then Zero in my bank acount and paypal charge me like 3 dollars for recive 50 dollar then what happen , payment is refused and returned ? (my guess is that paypal dont charge me until the same moment than 50 dollar is in my acount but i ask because im not sure) 7. Where can i get a Paypal donation button to put in my blog or web? and is it possible to make it so that if anyone without a paypal acount sees/click on it then they dont get to know my realname/corporation name? just say a button that say "donate to paypal" and then when clicking just say "login" ? 8. What is the downside of having a Busniess acount compared to Premier there must be someone if not everyone would have made busniess acount right? so what is the downside of busniess acount compared to premier? Ok this is my questions for today , i hope someone can help So i can decide whetever to choose premier or busniess If i have to choose premier and use real name i cannot put up a donation button on my web/blog and only use paypal for selling on ebay and such atleast I know that is the downside with premier
