I need help! I'm trying to access a proxy site few minutes ago but i'm getting this error messages : the site is called scoobidoo and i used to access this site before until.. until my internet provider tech came here this afternoon to fix my annoying internet connection.. the guy who fixed my net knew nothing about computers - and i am quite sure about that. not to be rude or anything but he is. why i said so? there was one time he asked me where the clear cookies option is located, where the network panel is (he don't even know what it's called and cant event explain it), where the "TV-LIKE" image is (the connection status near the clock), he also said that there's a problem with my lan card which is not true and if their canopy portal is my homepage (i said i set my browser option to "show my windows and tabs from last time" which mean the last site that he visited will show again once he reopened the browser - but he didnt get what i mean and looked more confusd than ever, so i just set the homepage to blank. so yeaaaah, i think he did something with my computer (accidentally) to block those sites, how can i disable it from blocking the sites? please excuse how i describe the guy, it just that - it's really annoying that you're paying for your net out of your own pocket every month and yet you get a very bad service. ps. kindly move my thread if i posted it on the wrong board. thanks.
^proxy have so many uses.. like for example, if you wanna download something on megaupload and it says you cant download the files because all *something something - i forgot the term that they used* in your country are all in used, then you can use a proxy and get different IP/location, so there, you can download that file on megaupload (I tried this before and it did worked)
